KJ and the Krew catch up on everything worth watching, reading, and geeking out over. This section refreshes itself every time a new show goes up.
What makes a celebrity interview worth watching? It's the moment a guest forgets they're on a press tour and starts telling a story they haven't told anywhere else. KJ has spent more than 20 years in broadcasting learning how to get there.
Indianapolis woke up with her for 13 years as co-host of the Smiley Morning Show on WZPL-FM, work that earned a Marconi Award nomination. In 2022 she launched The KJ Today Show on Star Wars Day (of course), and built it into a two-time PopCon Podcast Award winner with more than 90 live episodes and counting.
The guest list reads like a convention hall of fame: William Shatner, Geena Davis, the Jonas Brothers, Giancarlo Esposito, Bill Nye, Bob Costas, Christie Brinkley. They talk about the work, the fans, and, more often than anyone expects, the animals waiting for them at home.
That last part is no accident. KJ is also the Kitty Correspondent for the nationally syndicated Pet Pals TV, a Muse Medallion winner from the Cat Writers' Association, and the founder of PurrCon. Pop culture and pets is the lane she built herself.
Oscar winners, rock stars, starship captains, and a Science Guy. A few of the names who have joined KJ on the show:
