Joey McIntyre, a member of the popular boy band New Kids on the Block, is embarking on a solo tour and has a TV role he admits was quite interesting for him.

Speaking about his tour, Solo Joe, Joey is excited that it allows him to connect with his fans in a more intimate setting and showcase his individual talent. Although New Kids on the Block is thriving, Joey told KJ TODAY that he feels the need to balance his group commitments with his personal aspirations.

And if you haven’t seen it already, Joey has a suggestion for NKOTB fans who plan to watch his performance on the upcoming Lifetime series, “Dawn.” Based on the V.C. Andrews’ books, the show is also dark and twisted in nature. Joey admits that his character has questionable intentions and that the series contains spicy elements so NKOTB fans may want to watch “after putting their kids to bed.
